Update 01.06.22


I have decided to post devlogs less often than usual because it takes quite a lot of focus and time which I can spend on coding / learning new stuff. I will still write them but only when there are either lots of changes accumulated or there are important things to say. Additionally, from now I am also giving some focus to improvement which is often in opposite way from adding new things / improving existing ones so it can slightly slow down the progress untill Im satisfied.

Enough lyrics heres what happend in past several updates:

Main menu:

  • Fixed some grammar issues (thanks TemX)
  • Added "Press ESC to close" button in Settings menu as it could be not much obvious that pressing Escape button will close it (thanks TemX)
  • Improved screen's resolution dropdown (thanks TemX)

Editor:

  • Fixed a massive issue where layers changes were not actually applied
  • Fixed an issue where 1/6 and 1/12 divisors didnt have 1/2 divisor displayed
  • Reworked song navigation slider in (I hope) better way
  • Improved changing position in song using mouse's scroll while song is not paused

I have spotted an extremelly annoying and rare issue where you can get to some point in song at which divisor can go weird way (half of it would become distorted for some reason) unfortunatelly none of Unity settings give any effects and it seems that this is extremelly deep one (probably somehow tied with vertex shaders and matrices since it also appears even with using GL class). I have done several things that would make probability of getting this one to almost 0 but fixing it completely would be "fun" i guess. Also I forgot to remove some test actions from Q/W buttons (that will be removed in next update). They will push you to +-1 ms in the song.
